You probably know by now that I am a co-founder of Pipeline Playwrights here in the DC area. My friend Pat’s play opened last week—a beautiful production!

Set in a village in West Africa, where long-held religious beliefs collide with the rights of women and girls, we see one mother risking it all as she pits herself against extended family, religion, and tradition to save her children.
